tests/run-tests.py: Add general newline normalization function.

Add a general normalize_newlines() function that handles newline variations
(\\r\\r\\n, \\r\\n) to \\n while preserving literal \\r characters that are
part of test content.
This provides a robust solution for cross-platform test compatibility,
particularly addressing PTY double-newline issues that can occur with some
terminal implementations.
The function is applied to all test output before comparison, eliminating
platform-specific newline issues.
Includes a unit test to verify the normalization behavior.

shared/runtime/pyexec: Provide support for compile-only mode.

When `MICROPY_PYEXEC_COMPILE_ONLY` is enabled and the global
`mp_compile_only` is True, code is compiled but not executed.
Also add comprehensive tests for compile-only functionality covering both
successful compilation and syntax error detection.

Any '_' variables/functions in frozen modules are currently printed, when
they shouldn't be. That's due to underscore names possibly existing
between the start and end qstrs which are used to print the auto-complete
matches. The underscore names should be skipped when iterating between the
two boundary qstrs.
The underscore attributes are removed from the extra coverage exp file
because tab completing "import <tab>" no longer lists modules beginning
with an underscore.

esp32: Use shared/tinyusb integration for S2 and S3 USB.

Uses newer TinyUSB synopsys/dwc2 driver for esp32s2 and esp32s3 rather than
the IDF tinyusb component. This allows re-use of other tinyusb integration
code and features shared between ports.

esp8266: Add board variant support.

This merges the existing GENERIC, GENERIC_1M, and GENERIC_512k boards
into variants of the new ESP8266_GENERIC board (renamed from GENERIC so
as not to clash with other ports).
Also moves the generation of the "OTA" variant (previously generated by
autobuild/build-esp8266-latest.sh) into the variant.
Following the convention established for the WEACTSTUDIO rp2 board, the
names of the variants are FLASH_1M and FLASH_512K (but rename the .ld files
to use MiB and kiB).
Updates autobuild to build esp8266 firmware the same way as other ports.
This requires renaming the output from firmware-combined.bin to just
firmware.bin.

Very helpful for catching typos or missing imports when writing code!

Parent commits contain various small fixes and inline ignores for this
check. The only blanket exception is manifest files, which are numerous
and evaluated with some global names pre-defined - these can be globally
ignored.
